As you consider becoming a Club Member, here's a little about us.
President & CEO
The founder of Cordia, Ms. Anderson provides the strategic vision and leadership for all facets of the business. Ms. Anderson has over thirty years experience in providing services to seniors in residential environments, both in the United States and abroad. It is from her deep understanding of seniors that Cordia's mission statement and core values evolved.
Vice President, Organizational and Business Development
Dr. Theodore is responsible for developing new business opportunities for the company. In this role his focus is on aligning Cordia's innovative approach to the delivery of active and engaged lifestyles for seniors with partners and investors seeking to realize the benefit of this unique approach. Dr. Theodore served as the primary architect behind our signature Cordia CurriculumSM and has been instrumental in its successful implementation at Cordia Communities. Dr. Theodore has a proven track record in coaching organizations to better actualize their articulated vision and organizational goals.
Club Executive Director
In her role as Club Executive Director, Linda Price has primary responsibility for sales and marketing, wellness, and resident programs. Prior to her current position Price served as Sales Director for the national magazine Spirituality and Health Media. She served as the Regional Operations Director for WTS International, a leading spa, fitness and recreation management and consulting firm. Price was previously Director of Club, Spa and Recreation at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Price has served as the volunteer Director of Operations for the Traverse City Film Festival since its inception.
Club General Manager
As Club General Manager, Nate Glidden has primary responsibility for dining, concierge, valet parking, transportation, housekeeping and building services. Glidden brings 17 years of experience in the areas of fine dining, private club and conferencing operations. Most recently, he served as Director of the Hagerty Center at Northwestern Michigan College, where he oversaw the Center’s corporate, community and social events. Glidden also served as Club Manager for Battle Creek Country Club in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Director of Club Membership
Heidi Kruse is a Traverse City native who served as executive director of a senior community in the southwest before returning to her home town. Her primary responsibility as Director of Club Membership is to guide those interested in becoming members of the club through the deliberative process, educating them about the key elements of the Cordia Residential Club and helping them decide how best to approach choices that will reinforce their intentional living goals.
Director of Club Programs
Megan Raphael, a Traverse City native with strong ties to the community by the bay, brings an immense spirit and energy to her role as Director of Club Programs. Her commitment is to the design and implementation of an enriching program curriculum that supports intentional life choices for club members.
