Having a sense of purpose is important at every stage of our life as it can decrease stress, strengthen the immune system, and promote resilience. You are also more likely to live longer, less likely to have a heart attack or stroke, and studies even suggest that you are less likely to develop Alzheimer’s Disease. Our desire to learn new things and to thrive doesn’t end at retirement or when a spouse passes, which is why Cordia makes it our mission to provide opportunities for our members to continue to lead purposeful and meaningful lives.
